About Sugo Osteria
Sugo Osteria is the latest venture from the Cava Restaurant Group. In 2006, childhood friends Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropolous and Dimitri Moshovitis opened their first Cava Mezze restaurant in Rockville, Maryland. Now, with nearly 350 employees, they run three Cava Mezze restaurants, four Cava Grills, along with the new Sugo Cicchetti.
Sugo is the word for traditional Italian pasta suace, while “Osteria” is defined as a place serving wine and simple food, with a emphasis on pasta, grilled meat & seafood.
Chef Dimitri Moshovitis offers an eclectic menu of authentic and modern Italian plates, artisanal pizzas and house-made pasta.
